Rely is a file download and organization app developed by Dwi Randy. This policy explains how the Android app and this website handle information. If you have a question, contact hi@dwirandyh.dev.
Files and information on your device
Rely stores downloaded files, download records (such as source URLs, file names, sizes, and progress), folders, and app preferences locally on your device. Rely does not operate a cloud storage service for your downloaded library. Files you choose to share or export are sent to the destination or app you select.
Local file access lets you open, organize, rename, move, share, or delete files. Rely uses Android’s file access mechanisms when you select a destination or export content. Device or operating-system backup features may handle app data according to your device settings.
Download requests and external websites
When you enter a URL, Rely connects to the content provider to retrieve file information or download content. That provider receives information normally included in a network request, such as your IP address, the requested URL, and request headers. Its own privacy policy applies to those requests. Links may contain access tokens or personal information, so use care when entering or sharing them.
Some sources may be opened or processed using an embedded web view. Those sites may use cookies or other website storage under their own policies.
Background downloads and notifications
When enabled, Android background downloads use a foreground service to continue a transfer you started. An ongoing notification displays the file name, download progress, and Pause or Cancel controls. Rely requests notification permission so that you can see and manage this activity. You can disable background downloads in Rely’s Settings and manage notification permissions in Android settings.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free Android app includes an optional rewarded-ad boost powered by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Advertising components may process IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location derived from network information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Local file storage does not mean that advertising components process no data.
Rely uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. When available, you can review your choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also manage advertising privacy controls in Android settings. Google’s processing and retention practices are described in its Privacy Policy and advertising information.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot the issue. Avoid sending private download links or files unless they are needed for the support request. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence using the same contact address.
Retention and deletion
Downloaded files and local records remain on your device until you remove them through the app or Android settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes app-managed data; files you exported to shared storage or another app may remain there. Delete those copies from their destination when needed. External content providers and Google retain their data under their own policies.
Security
Rely uses the operating system’s app storage protections. Network security also depends on the source URL: HTTPS encrypts supported transfers, while HTTP does not provide the same protection. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Age suitability
Rely is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent personal information to us through support, contact us so that we can address the request.
This website
This landing page does not include analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies, or a sign-up form. The embedded demo video, fonts, and app screenshots are served by the website itself. The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Links to other websites are subject to their policies.
